I can't wait!
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Only two more fiendish questions left to compile then I can sit back and relax - well not quite!
To those of you new to the quiz, or if you've forgotten, here's the golden rule. In fact it's so golden I'm going to shout it:-
DON'T POST YOUR ANSWERS ON THIS THREAD, PRIVATE MESSAGE ME INSTEAD
I think that needs to be made into a jingle. Any volunteers??

# Please don't post your answers
In this Quiz thread
Private message your take
To Nyder instead
Who could live without it?
I ask in all honesty
What could it mean?
To live without fiendishly festive questions
On Planet Skaro this year
So I say
Please don't post your answer
Instead Private message me #
The last bit only works if you sang it though Nyder but how's that?

Okay so the prizes this year:-
Last place: yes we’re having a special consolation prize this year for the lowest score ..... but you have to have submitted at least 19 answers as well.
3rd place: As ever it’s our mystery prize
2nd place: The all-new Doctor Who desk pad
1st place: A yummy scrummy £25 Amazon e-voucher
I’ll let you know tomorrow when you can play your jokers. It’s getting perilously close to the start of the quiz!

Okay here we go with Day 1. Oh and Happy December Someone is playing their joker already today ...
As this quiz is starting on the weekend, you have until Monday morning 7am to submit both today’s and tomorrow’s answers.

OMG, I can't believe I missed the thread. I was only thinking yesterday that I hadn't read anything about the festive quiz this year. Thanks for playing the game again......
I’m being extremely clever up here and there’s no one to stand around looking impressed! What’s the point in having you all?

And so it begins!
I think I've got this one.
I've just got my handcuffs and my truncheon and that's enough.

Whilst you’re still mulling over Day 1 ... welcome to Day 2, and oh my it’s a fiendish one! (For me to say that it must be bad!!) I bet someone is rueing the day they played their joker now
Below you’ll find a mash-up of words that come from the chapter headings of a Who Target novelisation. But which book has it come from??

As the old song says “there are more questions than answers” so let me attempt to redress the balance
Day 1 was ROY CASTLE (in Carry On Up The Kyber)
Day 2 was this

Nyder's Fabulously Fiendish Yet Frankly Festive Quiz 2018
Just a point of order. For those who haven’t assigned their jokers yet, don’t forget you can either do it in public on this thread or message me privately.
If you’re going to message me could you do it in a separate message marked “Jokers” and not add them as a post-script to an answer. It just makes life more easier for nasty ol’ Nyder
Enjoy tomorrow’s question - it’s a music question and it’s a STINKER

On the subject of Jokers, I've input all the variables into my selection generator to identify which would be the optimum dates on which I should play them. So anyway, my hat says 10th (Who) and 19th (NotWho). Ta!

Welcome to Day 4 which I like to call "A Bridge Too Far". Three points on offer today! You have to work out the name of the 3 songs that these "bridges" are from. What could be simpler? Oh did I tell you they're playing backwards too?? Fiendish!
