Hurrah The production on this one is spot on. Great stuff!
It's an enjoyable little story, I'll have to get the 'Rob' fan club interested!Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!

Having finished off "Soap" last night (oh my!) I shall be downloading 'n' listening to this one this evening, in time for part 2 tomorrow.

I see now, I think, why Pip's cover has been kept under wraps until part 2 - what a cliffhanger!!! Great stuff, and I particularly loved the casual "I knew those diving lessons would come in handy" line! A whole new avenue of hidden talents is surely opening there for Rob: "I knew that course on ancient Norwegian dialects would come in handy", etc. And can I just say that Ant C was particularly good as t'Statue, giving it great presence.

Okidokie - the thrilling conclusion to our third audio story, and the terribly exclusive mini-documentary 'Making Keepsake' and my cover artwork, are all available to download!
Clicky and enjoy!

Nice new banner! All very intriguing, and Ant looks very sinister there!
I haven't had a chance to listen to this yet, but I shall download it very soon, when I know I can sit back and listen to it, without any distractions or having to do anything else on the computer.

I hope you won't be demanding a stand alone Nick adventure too, Dave!

Well, just keep the Schloer coming, and I'll try not to throw an artistic strop.

I can't have a stand alone adventure because my characters have a habit of dying.
Nice cover BTW, Pip. I can't wait to see what happens.

I'm just going to note, in case there are comments that make people think I've been running off physical copies for selected people unfairly, that we still didn't have enough resources to do a full CD run, but with Pip's help on the printing I have sent a disc copy to the main cast members plus two people who contacted me to say they wouldn't be able to hear it for technical reasons. They should all get a copy in the post today and so be able to hear it with everyone else!

Good grief - I look positively evil on that cover! Though I suppose that was the whole point...
Mind you, on the back cover I look like I have a bad hangover and haven't slept for weeks!
I haven't listened to it yet but will download it ASAP! I remember Dave Taylor being particularly strong in this one - looking forward to it!Last edited by Antony Cox; 17th Apr 2007 at 1:03 PM.

I've just listened to parts 3 & 4 & the stand out thing that struck me is how much Ant's laugh is like Anthony Ainley. Looks like a new Master is on the horizon.
I love the making of. And the alternate ending is brilliant.

You haven't heard anything until you've heard my OTT Ainley style laugh!!!
Mind you, my attempt at a goatee beard was not quite so great!!!!
I'm looking forward to hearing this story

I hope Ant doesn't mind me saying it took him a few takes to get his laugh right. I think once I'd located that best take I then used that bit of audio quite a lot it was such a good laugh!

Only just
I'm looking forward to hearing the last episode. The production on the first part was really good, and I can't wait to hear what Si's done with the rest of the story.

Quick question, I've made my CD (I hope it's OK, I've not checked it yet) but what I want to know is what programme do you use to print the CD cover?
-
17th Apr 2007, 1:49 PM #49Pip Madeley Guest
I use Microsoft Word to print my CD covers (make the image height 4.75 inches).

I was especially impressed with the future/past Ben scenes. Having someone talking to themselves on audio could be really confusing, but between the performance and the production it's really clear.
It also has the advantage of being a scene without Rob all over it! Just what is an 'Earlock' that they have on spaceships all the time?Pity. I have no understanding of the word. It is not registered in my vocabulary bank. EXTERMINATE!
